Education
Education is the most important thing we do. We use education in all parts of our company. If we do not educate owners during training or behavioral consultations we would not get the great results that we do. We have expanded the education piece beyond just 1-on-1 work with your pet. We offer lecture-style courses on a variety of topics that are good for people working with dogs, dog owners and anyone interested in learning more. We are currently working with SCAVT to allow Veterinary Technicians to take our courses for Continuing Education credit!

3 Hour Seminar- Choose 2-3 topics to be discussed and tailored to your facility/audience. Each topic will be 1-1.5 hours in length.

Dog First Aid/CPR Training- In this 1.5 hour hands-on training you will obtain the skills needed in a critical situation with your pet. Participants learn rescue breathing, CPR, the heimlich maneuver and simple first aid. First Aid includes wound bandaging, taking vital signs, safely moving an injured animal and more. Each participant will also go home with a pet first aid kit.

Community Education Classes- Canis Lupus K9 Academy partners with local community education programs to offer various classes to residents. Watch your local catalog for upcoming opportunities.

Dog Bite Education- It is important to know how to stay safe around dogs. Our Dog Bite Education program is a great way to teach children this very idea. We can come into your child's school, daycare, camp, etc and teach them how to appropriately approach a dog they want to pet, what to do if they encounter a stray dog and the responsibility of owning their own dog. *This class is also effective for Postal Workers, Delivery Personnel, anyone who's profession comes into contact with unknown dogs.

Apartment Living- Learn how to be a good member of community living. This course covers hallway/elevator etiquette, exercising in small spaces, barking, public manners and responsible ownership. This is a great option as a requirement for apartment complexes to ensure their communities pets are friendly and well mannered as well as having owners that are responsible.
